Annual Inclusion Matters Conference

Dear Cheshire West and Chester Parent Partnership Parent Carer Forum,

Our annual Inclusion Matters conference takes place on Friday 27th April at Gorton Monastery. Our theme this year is Resilience and Belonging, inspired by the work of David Trickey of the Anna Freud Centre and the Resilience Framework produced by Angie Hart.

Thinking about the uncertain world our children are growing up in, psychologists and mental health practitioners are focusing on how we can enhance children’s resilience, for example by promoting a ‘sense of safety; calming; a sense of self- and community- efficacy; connectedness and hopefulness.’ (based on Hobfall et al., 2007)

“The more that families, schools and communities can do to promote these principles in their everyday interactions the less likely they will need therapy” (David Trickey, Professional Responses to Potentially Traumatic Events, Manchester, July 2017)

We have a fantastic line up of speakers, including David Trickey himself and a member of Angie Hart’s team from Brighton University. Booking is via our webpage, or directly using the online booking form below.

Visit our conference webpage for more information about keynote speakers and seminars:

Places are priced at an Early Bird rate of £145 until 16th March and Full Price £165 thereafter.

Schools that have service contracts with Catalyst Psychology have one free place included in their contract, but still need to book:
